A Frequent Sagrada Guest

Getting to know many wonderful people who grace us with their presence at Sagrada is so special. We are grateful when many of our guests come back too! I had the recent honor of being with one of our veteran attendees, Irina, who joined me on my Qi Gong and Hiking retreat. Irina has been coming to Sagrada since the beginning, once or sometimes twice a year since we opened in 2012. Back then Scott and I lived on the ranch raising our two little kids, 2 and 4 years old, as we ran our small family-owned business, juggling greeting our guests, cooking for them, maintaining the ranch, and housekeeping.  Irina remembers our kids when they lived at Sagrada. Scott would carry our baby boy in the Ergo as he led guests on a meditation walk on our Quiet Oaks trail. I would prepare the desserts for our guests with the help of my little girl. Sagrada has been a safe and sacred healing home for many and I know Irina feels the same way. She enjoys Sagrada as a reset, as a place to connect to nature, and as a sanctuary for inspiration and community. When I greeted her on the land a few days ago for a retreat, we hugged and caught up with each other and she asked me how my babies were doing. I had to remind her that they are big teenagers now! Enjoy a few sweet words from Irina.
